AI TO THE CLIPPERS?

aipistons

Oh boy! Just got this word. I swear the NBA is getting very interesting. But I still say border line WWF. Even though this my dude and fellow G-Town School mate, he’s catching a bad break and still Mo-Betta then all these young dudes in the league. Read story here… It’s obvious that the NBA is all about now by the looks of the moves the Celtics and the Cavs are making. Neither one will win it this year! Take that to La La Land… Again!

Lamaar Odom Signing News: Not Looking Good

Yesterday, things seemed sunny. Today, not so much: “Lakers owner Jerry Buss, who improved on his offer of $8 million a season to Odom, is getting frustrated and is thinking about pulling the deal off the table soon. Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak talked at halftime of a game between the Lakers and Clippers on Monday in Las Vegas at the summer league, saying that the talks with Odom left him ‘not as hopeful as I was on Friday.’ When asked why, Kupchak said, ‘Just a feeling you get. Right now, I’m not sure we’re on the same page.’”

Trevor Ariza Visits The Rockets!

trevorariza

Lakers fans, we have a loss soul! I guess he’s satisfied with 1. Now it’s time to get your money. I understand because he’s only 24. Gotta ring, get your money, then chase the ring again. Secure your self, as we can see the league has no loyalty to the players, so why be loyal to them? Here’s the story about Ariza… http://bit.ly/xUs8P

Shaq and The King!

shaq-and-lebron

Shaq officially became a Cavalier today and has stated that he will be getting the King a ring. Well big fella, we will be deffinately waiting and watching to see if this happens. I think a lot of people in the East will have something to say about this including those Beantown Celtics if they are healthy and land Rasheed Wallace. The chances of winning it all I will say the trophy stays in L.A. Ron Artest doesn’t want to be in Cleavland! It’s a wack town and L.A. has the best overall team in the league!

KOBE INTERVIEW

blackmomba

Q. The Magic did a great job in protecting the lane and keeping you from penetrating. But you made eight assists in every game of the Finals, and Derek Fisher now just said you see yourself more as a scorer than a passer. How did you do that?
KOBE BRYANT:
Well, just reading the defense. Reading the defense, making plays, taking the challenge if they want to stop me and throw a couple guys at me, to be able to find other guys. I just take a lot of pride in it.

Q. By the way, the number 8 is a lucky number in China; everybody loves it.
KOBE BRYANT: Thank you (smiling). CLICK HERE TO READ THE INTIRE INTERVIEW

DWIGHT HOWARDS HIGHSCHOOL BASKETBALL COACH INTERVIEW

He has always been in competition with Lebron since Highschool

BLAME IT ON EGOS!!!

mowill

I would be a fool to blame the lost to Orlando on just Lebron James. That’s why we play the game, someone has to win, there will be upsets and some will lose! The Cleavland Cavaliers breezed through this season having pre-game fun, posing, laughing, destroying opponets and were really having a good time. In this world as I have come to know it, when your Ego and cockiness grow larger then the planet you live on, the creator will find ways to humble you. Mo Williams for example, good/average player is an example. Have you seen the size of this dudes ego and heard some of the things he said out his mouth in interviews? Oh boy! He should be volunteering at his hometown McDonalds now after his humbling performance and should be a lesson learned. He will soon find out that that was a one shot deal in his career because the fellow known as King James will be rolling out and he will not be rolling with him! For ol Mo Willie it’s back to Milwaukee in the form of Cleavland. Sorry fella but Egos & pride gives us the illusion to think over highly of ourselves, and it can not exist in an environment filled with humbleness! Lesson learned young fella, better luck next year!

NBA DRAFT RUMOR: GRIZZLIES WANT THABEET OVER RUBIO

Though there are rumors that the Clippers will try to move Baron Davisin the coming weeks in order to take Ricky Rubio with the first pick, odds are that they’ll start training camp with Davis and Blake Griffin on the roster. That leaves Rubio to the Grizzlies at No. 2. But Memphis ownerMichael Heisley is reportedly pushing against taking the Spanish PG second.

This could completely alter the landscape of the draft – it already has far-reaching implications. Even though…

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After losing tens of millions of dollars, the first black majority owner of a major professional sports team is exploring selling the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Blind Fold That The Cavs Are Passing Out On Game Night!

The Cleavland Cavaliers are by far one of the most exciting teams to watch in my era. I would say after the MJ & Pip Bulls & the Clyde the Glyde Trailblazers I would put the Cavs next. (Simply because of Lebron) Last night was a prime example of the Lebron stage show feat. Moe Williams, Delonte West and others. Lebron is the most unselfish scorer I have ever seen (outside of me) in my life! But folks guess what? That’s the problem. the Cavs are use to running up the scor on folks and watching Lebron set the stage for his supporting cast to follow and finish the show. Last night, he couldn’t take a breather! Not good. Remember when Kobe scored 61 in NY and Lebron topped him with 50 something and a rebound shy of a triple double? Well that game he cramped up. Last night going for 49 against an Orlando team that wouldn’t quit, he cramped up. It’s simple, Lebron has to do too much. Ya think he can run in there and go chest to chest with Dwight Howard and help out and chase shots for a whole series and score 40 every game (He has to)? I don’t think so. The machine does bleed! Oh yeah, and the Cavs have no bench!

My Take on Tonights Denver @ LA

Personally, I think Denver will come into the game afraid to lose instead of playing to win. This game will be more of a mental challenge for them then physical. The mistake is that the Lakers lost that game but won by points. The Lakers don’t lose twice plus they’re @ home. The Laker bigs knows what it feels like now to compete against the leagues toughest and relentless front court, now that Lemarr and Paul have survived game 1 w/o a loss thanks too Kobe, they will redeem themselves tonight. The series will be great and Denver can win the 1st game in Denver, but I don’t see the Lakers losing 2 in a row @ any point throughout the playoffs.

Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown- San Fransisco

Blacktop Sports Management Pro Exposure Camp

Why the Lakers wil win against Denver.

1st, the Lakers as a whole pose the most match up problems through out the NBA! Starting with Kobe Bryant, he throws off your whole defensive scheme by making you play somewhat of a zone. Grant it Battier plays great defense on Kobe but he has a big behind him not guarding anyone and the other week side guys in help support. Denvers best defender for Kobe is Kenyon Martin and Dahntay Jones. Denver already has a small but athletic front line but offensively doesn’t have a post player that can play with there back to the basket. J.R. Smith is too small defensively for Kobe and gets in foul trouble quickly, so that takes away that spark off the bench. Paul Gasol will have his way in the post against the smaller forwards and Bynum will show up against the smaller front line and don’t have to worry about the offensive abilities of Yao Ming this round and can stay out of foul trouble. Melo will be Melo but will have to work hard against the long athletic Ariza and sometimes Kobe Bryant. Billups will be more effective from long range because LA will have 4 guys w/ fresh legs interchanging on him from D.Fisher, Sasha, Shannon Brown and Farmar. It will be a good series but at the end, the arrogance and mental basketball guru will be calling checkmate in 6 next round!
