Didn’t feel like doing a season preview because the league will be the most competitive this year then it has been since MJ & the Bulls. Saying that, everyone knows that I am a Laker at Heart and my bandwagon team of the year is the Toronto Raptors in the East. Not because I think they will represent the East in the Chip but because offensively they’re going to give whoever hell!
This is totally from my perspective. From what I’ve seen and watched with my own eyes. No media influence and strictly from my knowledge, because I am a scorer too. Beg to differ!
My rankings of these scorers are tallied up by three things. When, what & how!
The “When” is time and score of game. Stat stuffers don’t get the scoring nod to me. If you are just getting numbers and your team don’t have a chance to win because of your numbers, doesn’t count. The “What” is the key ingrediant. Whats your purpose of scoring? Whats the game situation? Whats the importance? The “How” is self explanatory. Ease of scoring, inside, outside, however you get a bucket! Saying that…. Here we go!
#1 TEAM MELO: This guy is the best scorer in the league! He does it against the best defenders and have never had a good team around him until last year where he blossomed and made it to the Western Conference Finals against the best on the ball defender in the league. People always say how great and better Lebron James is then this cat and I beg to differ. They play different positions but Melo has more heart and battle against the tough guys.

#2 “The Black Mamba” : The 2nd best scorer in the league is also the best player in the league. How is that? Because he does it all and doesn’t have a weakness. Melo gets the #1 nod because of his size and paint presence. But who do you want to have the ball when time is running out and your down?

#3 KEVIN DURANT: I have to go with the new kid on the block! Big shot, Big Kid, Big Heart! He’s a mismatch for anyone! Remember Walt Williams @ Maryland U.? Times it by 2!

#4 DANNY GRANGER: Is a shocker to the non-basketball playing fanswho don’t have a clue about putting the rock in the hoop. Next time the Pacers are on the tube, get a load of #33! He’ll rebuttle any questions you have. aka “Mr. Go Extremely Hard!”

#5 LEBRON JAMES: Last but not least, the most exciting scorer in the league! We love the way he do it! He does it so easy but yet so thunderous but he’s has the worst 4th quarter put out then the rest of these guys and thats when it counts the most!

If you think different, leave yours in the comment section and explain!
